The curtain goes up on ‘The Bone Yard Ballet’

skull2Books arrived this afternoon, so here’s some pictures of the embossed covers and special editions. The standard copies are embossed both front and back, with an image of ‘Godfrey’ on the front and ‘Josephine’ on the back, there is no text at all on the covers just a simple design to catch the eye and hopefully lure the viewer to explore further. The special editions are encased in a plain black slipcase, with a ribbon to assist easy removal. I will up date with some spreads from the book tomorrow, as the typography, drop caps and use of space in the design are really something, Mark Woodhams who worked on the design has done a fantastic job. Unfortunately the lights in the studio are just reflecting off the pages tonight for me to do them justice. I will be opening the shop later tonight, probably 10/11 GMT by the time i have numbered and signed all the special editions. Anybody that has placed pre-orders i will be dropping you a mail in the few hours.
